Project Overview
As part of its efforts to utilize the Earth's natural resources more efficiently, Samsung is expanding the use of recycled materials in Galaxy devices. In particular, the company is focusing on recycling cobalt, an essential component of batteries.
As part of these efforts, Samsung is introducing the Circular Battery Supply Chain, a new multi stage process for recycling Galaxy batteries.
